Our Working Method

Working in the Hague Workshop

Welcome to the Hague Workshop! With us, you only pay for what you use, thanks to our clear scanner system that keeps track of everything honestly and transparently. Here is an overview of how everything works and how to get started.

Registration

Before you start, you can Register via our website. During registration you agree to our terms and conditions and it is good to know that working in the workshop is at your own riskAfter registration you will receive an account, with which you can top up credit and track your usage.

Let's get started!

We would like to get to know you better: who are you, what do you want to make and do you already have experience? This information helps us to guide you optimally.

Safety is our top priority. That's why you may only use our machines if you have experience with similar devices. No experience? No problem! Follow our machine woodworking course or choose “Personal guidance” to learn on-site how to work with specific machines. When you have finished your work

Cleanliness and Waste

It is important that everyone leaves their workplace tidy. Make sure you put away all your materials and take your waste with you. This way we keep the workplace clean and tidy for everyone.

Scanner system and usage credit

  1. Credit: In our workshop we work with a credit system. This means that you deposit credit on your account in advance. After your working day, the credit used is automatically debited. You can also use this credit to buy small materials in our self-service shop. Please note: Credit cannot be used to book courses.

  2. Check-in: Upon arrival, you will be given a scanner to register your workstation, such as a standard workstation or a large workstation. Your workstation will be registered for a minimum of two hours.

  3. Machines and tools: Scan machines and power tools before you start. The system will keep track of how long you use them. Remember: you pay for as long as you use a machine, so scan it out when you are done using it.

Consumables and materials

You can pay for consumables like screws, sandpaper and glue with your credit, as well as materials like wood. This makes it easy to buy everything you need without the hassle of extra payments.
