In just four evenings we immerse you in the world of wood and plaster. You will not only learn how to erect a sturdy wooden frame and install drywall, but also how to install electrical wiring for lighting.

Our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way, from understanding the basics of timber frame construction to perfectly finishing the wall for a professional result. In 4 evenings you will learn how to independently carry out common jobs around the house. The following topics are covered:

Wooden frame and plaster
- Theory HSB (Wood Skeleton Construction)
- Choice of wood, uprights and beams, center to center
- Measure, mark and saw
- Attach top and bottom beams
- Preparing and placing plaster
- Take the door frame into account
Electricity and insulation
- Preparations: Determine whether and where your socket or light switch should be located
- Create a slot from an existing wall socket in a perpendicular wall
- Installing pipes and wall sockets
- Pulling wires
- Connecting wires
Finish
- Close the back of the wall with plasterboard
- Cover joints with reinforcing mesh
- Fill joints and screw holes with joint filler
- Seal cracks with sealant
- To sand
- Masking
- Prime

After this course you will have the skills to build an interior wall or even a new room in your home yourself.

I don't speak Dutch, can I still take the course?

Answer:
Yes, our courses are accessible for non-Dutch speaking participants. Most instructors also speak English and can adjust the explanation where necessary. If you have specific language questions, please contact us in advance so we can see what is possible!

I can't make the available dates, what now?

Answer:
If you are not available on the scheduled dates, you can register for the waiting list on the page of the relevant course. As soon as new dates are online, you will automatically receive an email so you can register immediately!

I cannot attend one of the course days, what now?

Answer:
If you miss one lesson, we will work together to find a suitable solution. This could mean, for example, that you catch up on the missed lesson on your own initiative in our workshop during opening hours, or that you participate in a subsequent course.
