During this course you will learn under expert guidance about the different types of glass, the techniques of cutting and soldering, and the art of designing their own unique creations. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, this course is open to anyone interested in exploring this age-old craft.

Course content:

• Introduction (1 lesson): Introduction and basic skills, including learning to break on transparent glass and come up with a design.
• Cutting & Breaking (2 lessons): Adjusting designs for feasibility, learning to break and cut glass, and applying your own colors and patterns.
• Setting lead (2 lessons): Joining glass and lead, including choosing lead variants and placing the glass in the lead.
• Finishing (1 lesson): Sealing and sanding the lead, securing it with solder, possibly patinating it for an old-fashioned look, and making hanging rings.

Supplies are provided per stage, including glass, tools and materials for each specific step.
