Basic Furniture Making Course
During our Basic Furniture Making Course you will be introduced to furniture making. In two evenings you will be introduced to different techniques for making small furniture from straight planks. This course is ideal if you want an accessible introduction to the profession.

Traditional Furniture Making Course
This course is a more extensive version of our basic course. In 6 evenings we will delve deeper into the techniques for making a piece of furniture from raw wood using our machines and tools. During this course we will work together to create your own piece of furniture. We will delve deeper into the basic principles of furniture making and apply various wood joining techniques. It is not mandatory to first take our basic course.

Modern Furniture Making Course
In this course you will learn to make furniture with materials that are available in all hardware stores and tools that you can also work with at home. In our six-week traditional woodworking course we go back to the core of woodworking and furniture making. You will learn to use hand tools such as chisels, planes and the Japanese pull saw to process rough hardwood and make various wood connections such as the tooth joint and dovetail joint.

Mechanical Woodworking Course
Woodworking is a wonderful profession and also a hobby for more and more people. The Hague Workshop has many machines that can be used to beautifully process wood. Think of cutting, sawing, flattening, ironing, creating thickness and width and profiling. These machines help you to work quickly and precisely. To do this safely and effectively, it is essential that you know how the machines work, what you can do with them and how to do it safely. We will teach you this during the machine woodworking course.
